Hello all experts,

My case should be an EB2 but I just found my I-140 was approved as EB1. I consult with my lawyer and was told that it\'s better to let it go and any modification would be just ignored by INS.

Anybody had the same experience? Would it cause any bad result?

Any advice/comment are appreciated.

I thought i was the only one.
My category was upgraded to EB2 from EB3.

I don\'t know waht category would they consider when approving ...

Nope -
My lawyer also had to say the same thing like your lawyer .
Actually we haven\'t done anything wrong.
Our documentation isn\'t fradulent . So i guess even if they find out, the INS will adjust to the correct category .

When applying for my I-140, the lawyer\'s office (by mistake) applied for EB-2. The INS sent
the application back saying that we must apply in EB-3. OK -- so the lawer\'s office
sent the corrected application for EB-3

End result: INS approved in EB-2

I asked the lawyer if we need to have it corrected yet again, but they too said that we have
done our part and if INS asks again -- then we can send a copy of the application as it was
made for EB-3

They also said that since my country is OTHERS, it shouldn\'t make a difference

All I am doing now, is waiting
