Hi, I have been a resident for a year. I have a 16 year old daughter in Venezuela, she is planning to come and visit me and my family. She went last year with her mother to the venezuelan's embassy in caracas to ask for the visit visa and it was denied to her. Now that I'm a resident, I was wondering what I need to do to get my daughter a tourist visa.

It is about B visas, B2 visa is the one that your daughter needs. If your daughter was denied a visa, do you remember the conditions in was denied? She must wait another 6 months before apply again. A letter from her school or another thing that attach her to Venezuela will help.
