Person on each side to verify dating?

Hello all,

My husband and I have our immigration interview on Thursday the 19th. Unfortuntely, our attorney hasn't been responding to our emails/phone calls.
She briefly mentioned that we need one person on each side to verify that they've known us since we were dating. What does this mean? Do I have to provide phone numbers and addresses or do they have to come in person?

Any help would be AMAZING.

Thanks

If I'm understanding your question correctly, I think what your attorney meant was that you two need to be prepared for the interviewer to ask about dates. I actually just had an interview as well and it is very likely that you will be asked about when you two met, date of wedding, and other dates regarding the two. Addresses and phone numbers are also another things that are asked almost certainly for most people.

No---our attorney said we need to have two people (someone I know and someone he knows) that are American Citizens that are able to verify that they have known us since we were dating (when we first got together).

He was probably telling you that you and your spouse need to prepare to talk about like a 'witness' to your relationship, such as someone who attended your wedding. Parent of the USC could be one or friends.... but family members are better in my opinion.
When I had my interview, the interviewer asked my USC wife for her parents name and # and told me that they might be contacting them to ask questions. So far, they haven't but it has only been few days
