PERM PWD level for civil engineer?

It would be likely to be in level III range. Civil engrs. fall in job zone 4, ie. description in O*Zone says BE might be required. So, if you put MS req. it will be definately level II wage, i am not sure how the experience is going to effect the wage level. Are you making level III wage??

i think it's civil engineer. what PWD level do you think it belongs to?

If it is only Civil Engineer, Level I & II, requires only BS

IF the job requirement is one of the sub specialities like Structural Engg, Soil Mech & Foundations Engg, Transportation Engg, Environmental Engineering, Water Resource Managment etc you will qualify EB2 (with MS or Bs + 5 yrs) with Level 3 to 4 : Note: Job necessity is required.

thanks for reply. I think the job requirement will be structural engineer. I really want to make clear about level 3 or level4 for M.S plus 2 yrs experiences. so i can decide how many years experiences i should put in the job requirement. i don't want to put a too high PWD which i can't achieve in the future.

If it is structural Engineer position, MS with no exp will fly off with EB2

i believe for structural engineer, M.S with no exp will qualify for EB2, but my most concern is the PWD level. I don't want the job requirement to be too high that I can't achieve it. Anybody can help?

Pwd

If the prevailing wage is too high, one option is to submit an employer provided survey.

For my position, the employer required MS in Civil/Structural engr, 5 yrs exp, PE license.

My OES level was IV but we're able to submit a NSPE/ASCE survey (do it online for $35).

What state are you in?
