PERM Process - Help Required

I have 4 years Bachelors degree in Non-Computer science and have 6 years of IT experience. Under which category will I fall if I apply for GC under the PERM Process?

Also I am currently working with an Indian Consulting company who are ready to file my GC under PERM. But my current end client wants me to join them directly via H1 B visa transfer and then apply GC using PERM thru them.

Which is a better alternative and why?

You will definitly qualify for EB3 because of non-computer degree.

Also I am currently working with an Indian Consulting company who are ready to file my GC under PERM. But my current end client wants me to join them directly via H1 B visa transfer and then apply GC using PERM thru them.

This is personal preference and stability of the company, consulting company always fragile in nature, if end cleint is financially sound , go ahead with them.

For them it will work out cheap, instead paying hourly rate to your present consulting firm they give you decent salary.
