My PERM is "In Proc" for 150 days  . Should I ask my attorney to ask the AILA liaison committee to take this up with DOL? By the way, what is AILA?

Below is the email reply from PLC.Chicago regarding to my PERM status.
-----------------------------------------------------
From: PLC, Chicago - ETA <plc.chicago@dol.gov>
Date: May 17, 2006 10:02 AM
Subject: Status inquiry - C-XXXXX-XXXXX / Company Name / My name
To: my attorney email
Case C-XXXX-XXXXX is in process, and official notification will be forthcoming.
Applications are processed in the order they are received. However, because each application is unique, processing times may vary depending on the specific circumstances of the case.

Please note that employers and attorneys may send case status inquiries to our office via email at PLC.Chicago@dol.gov.

Sincerely,
Chicago National Processing Center

Sent another email to Chicago about processing timeframe estimation. Below is their response. At least it gives some valuable info.

Your case has been assigned to an Analyst for review. It will be reviewed in the order it was received, based on the principles of FIFO (first in first out). When the Analyst reaches your case in the queue, it will be reviewed and a final determination will be issued. You will receive notification of the final determination via regular mail in approximately six (6) to ten (10) weeks from the date of this response

It looks like my case was assigned for the reviewer after my inquiry only. WTF!!!

Yes. I received the exactly same reply from Chicago National Processing Center. Not a single word is different. Looks like they did copy&paste.

Help!

Can you guys confirm the following?

Should the salary offered on the job order be equal to or greater than the Prevailing wage determined. Here is my issue:

My PWD form that went from my lawyer to the SWA mentioned 76k as the offered salary. The SWA came back with the prevailing wage of 77K. My lawyer went ahead with the job order with the offered salary of 76K.

Will this be a problem while applying for PERM?

Wage offered MUST BE >= PWD. Else, expect a PERM denial.

Is the check done during the online application process? OR will it be denied in case of an audit?

Does this mean that the job order would be required to be posted again? and wait for another 60 days?

It looks like a short version of their template. They have taken away a very important part of it, stating that their Analyst processes the cases in FIFO order.
Is there any way how to make a hole in their customer service firewall and get the actual certifying officer on phone?

Been "IN PROC" for 5 weeks after I received the 6-10 weeks note

Hey! -me-
Mine has been "IN PROC" for 5 weeks after I received the 6-10 weeks notification. They seem to wait until last moment.
Did you hear the final decision yet?
