I am a physician, 4yrs 10 months into H1B, and have a LC filed by my employer through RIR, now in TX backlog processing center.
The employer wants me to also work part-time in another (medically underserved area). I am worried that the LC might get denied whenever it's decided on, in 2-3 years.
I wonder if they can file a PERM application for the part-time job? If so,
(1) because it is a different position/location, that PERM application would not require the LC to be withdrawn, correct???
(2) do I need to work a minimum number of hours for job 1 (the LC/RIR) and job 2 (perhaps PERM or NIWaiver)?
