Hi All,

My attorney wants to file my PERM case by MAIL.
Do you know which is the better way of filing ?

please suggest.

Filing online is supposed to be quicker. Also, the online system will not accept non complete forms so you'll know straight away if you've omitted anything. Your receive date will be as soon as you hit the Send button, not after waiting for it to be delivered and accepted.

Your lawyer will receive an email with 3 basic questions to confirm the contact within 3 days but usually within minutes. And you'll know that they have you in the system.

I presume (but you can check) that you'll receive a receipt number just the same as if you applied online. You need your lawyer to set up an account for you with a login and password to check the status with your receipt number.
