PERM approval
Since DOL has already made it clear that PERM takes 45-60 days to process, technically, no case has been either approved or denied yet. I don't expect any word on approvals or denials until mid May at the earliest. Based on my experience with other types of new govt programs like PERM, the first cases filed will be used by groups of Certifying Officers to become familiar with real cases and use them for training purposes so the Certifying Officers get on the same page as far as how to process them, what to look for, and which ones to approve, audit, supervise for more recruitment, and to reject. Again, let's be patient and wait another month or so before we can expect word on filed PERM cases.
