Hi einmanninus,

Thanks for putting this list together. It is really helpful to see at a glance how many of us are waiting for a final decision from the Chicago PERM Center.

Following my earlier post, I also called the Chicago PERM Center (312 886 8000). The person on the phone said that they cannot provide any case status updates or information on processing time over the phone. But, they asked me for my name, tel number, case number, and date of filing - saying that they will transfer this information to an analyst or someone in the office who will look into it and possibly call me back if there is any update. They did this only after I told them that my case was filed in early June and I was still waiting for a final decision. I am now waiting to see if anything happens or if someone calls me back.

They also told me that I can write an email to the PERM helpdesk at PLC.HELP@dol.gov to inquire about the status of my case. I am not writing as yet but will possibly wait for a day or two to see.

If any of you have found anything else (whether by calling the Chicago PERM Center or from some other source), please post that information. It will be very helpful for everyone on the forum.

Hi all,

This message is for all PERM folks who got approvals in EB2!
Can you all please provide ur job titles? (If anyone is in IT?)
I'm planning to file PERM EB2 . I have Master's in computer science from US.

Hello guys..

Coming back to my office today I found out this.

This was my scenarion

First application: Filed on May 16th got denied immediately
Second Application: Filed on May 20th went to Audit Review

First Application:
After the June 24th rerun it went to sponsorship, did not answer the email, as we had the second application in place, status changed to Denied. Apprarently they called the office sometime later and the denied state changed to Final Review after that. To this case my office recived a letter asking for 1) PWD 2) Sunday Ad (3) Notice in the office space and (4)
Recruitment report. This letter was recieved on July14 th. My lawyer responded to that. The status is Still FINAL REVIEW

Second Application:
This was our main application because it went to Audit Review on May 20th. The status changed to Final Review after June 24th rerurn. No update since then.

I was not aware of this change earlier being out of town.


In short, my denied application did recieve a letter from Chicago . And our main application is in Final review no updates on it.
 
I spoke to my attorney's assistant yesterday and asked her if they received any approvals from Chicago after June 24th. She said YES. Nobody on this forum posted as certified from CHICAGO after June 24th though.

Hello all that are waiting with FR at Chicago.

I read in murthy forum that one person got approval with BS+5 from Chicago in 7 days. I am assuming that she would have applied recently means after 24th re-rerun. Coolz and others who filed after 24th June with Chicago may get approvals sooner or later. I think the ones that are moved to FR after 24th re-run and filed before June 24th have a problem.

My employer did call the DOL yesterday and they have asked him to wait until the 28th of july. They told that they are still updating the software and that the staus will change at least from Audit Review to something else. God know whats happening.

If noting happens I am going to ask my app to be refiled.

EB2, filed on may13th denied immediately, refiled on june 2nd, audit review for a while, changed to final review on june 24th, stuck in that .center--chicago
 
Looks like someone who filed with Atlanta on June 21st is still in Final Review. So, it is not just to do with Chicago. May be there is some other logical block that gets us into this kind of forever FR status. And also I came to know from my attorney's office that they recieved approval after june 24th for case filed before june 24th from Chicago.
