PERM Certified? Confused!

Hi,

On last friday, My company attorney said that my Perm is certified. After that he sent me some 11 page document to review and sign the application. The application is : ETA 9089....And I took a copy of the applition for my own reference.

The case number is: C-07011 -XXXXX.

  1. I'm wondering why he needs my sign on ETA 9089 form after my perm is certified.
  2. Where can i check the status on my case number to confirm myself?
    [*]what does my case number mean C-07011-....

My attorney does't want to tell any thing..some how I came to know the case number..Let me know If any one knows..

PERM is not valid unless signed by the employee. C in the number means Chicago. So, you are OK, Congratulations. Get after your attorney to have the 140 filed quickly.

Your employer and attorney will have online account for PERM. We could not get access though, ever.

Thanks for your quick reply! Do i get a copy/original of Perm approval notice?
 
No, I don't think so. At least we never saw the whole PERM, just the last page, where you sign, we don't have a copy . Also, we don't have a copy of the 140, or even the receipt number. The lawyer told us that this is property of the company and we are not supposed to have it.
