PERM Case Status inquery

Is there a way to tell the status of the PERM application other than the web site it was filed from. Here is my issue:

An employer filed a PERM petition for me under the EB2 category. My arrangement with his is that I will pay him certain amount of money until my case is approved. My case was filed in September and I haven't received an approval yet. The employer has told me that a lot of people he filed for after my case were all approved with in 2 to 3 weeks, but my case is taking longer. He said the status shows "In Process". I'm thinking that my case is either denied or approved but he is not telling me so that he could make more money from me.

I've asked him to give me access to the site so I could check my status, but he refused.

So, my question is that is there any other way to check what the status of the case is?

You can ask him to check the status infront of you while you are in his office.

Just a thought.

The company is in a different state. Watching over the sholder is not possible.

Tell him to send you a print out with the In Process status. Anyway, this is a very bad arrangement, and you are absolutely right, he could be using you. Don't you have an attorney? I would suggest hire one yourself, and let the attorney take it in his hands.

That sounds like an extremely "dodgy" situation.
You can't obtain the status without a login, unfortunately.
When clients request their status, we send them a screenshot of the status -- perhaps that is a suggestion your employer could handle?
I can't believe that YOU are paying HIM for the GC until approval... that just sounds terrible.
