PERM approved in 2 days?

My employer send my on-lone perm application on 08/10/06. Today I checked my status and it showed certified. Does it mean my PERM is approved? How long does it take to get the approval letter if it is really approved? Can I apply I-140 immediately right after I receive the approval letter? Thank you for your help and info.

Yes, most likely it is certified. Just make sure that the file number you are typing is YOUR file number. If that's the case, yes, you are approved. Which state are you in? Original will come in the mail within 2 weeks. Look for it.

Thank you all for the info what you provide before. I learned alot from all of you in here. Without your info and help, I cann't go through PERM so fast. I really appreciate all of you.

By the way, I think I filed in Chicago (since I'm in WA).

Meanwhile I have another Q. Anybody know when my employer should start to pay me at or above prevailing wage. Before File i-140?

can you guide us? me as well many my friends & co-workers trying to find out this... Our employer is not very co-operative and we are wondering how to check our perm app status online?
 
PERM - problem

I have come to US in July first week.My employer is paying salary from August 15th. He gave me offer letter dated August 15th. When I apply for perm , will it be a problem. Will it be a problem (stay without pay for one month initially)during I-140 or later stages (I-480) . Pls help me.

Folks, only your employer or your employer's lawyer can check your status. It is done in an online environment, and it is under username/pwd control. Please ask your employer for help, and try not to ask about it every day :)
