PERM and prevailing wage skills level.

As you know, 100% of prevailing wage is required now for PERM. In addition, they will consider four skill levels for prevailing wage determination instead of two. They have a formula how to calculate wages for 4 levels, if only 2 are available from SWA, but does anyone has an idea how those skill levels will be assigned?

For example, if requirements are master’s degree+3 years of experience, what skill level should be assigned on scale 1-4?

Any ideas? H-1B rules becoming the same, so probably we can get information there?

DOL has not yet published requirements for various levels. I think the requirement you mentioned will be level 4 in new system, if the minimum requirements for entry level position in your occupation is bachelors degree.

But check with qualified attorney.

Thank you. Actually, I am talking about Computer System Manager position. They indicate SVP 8 or higher as standard.
