After reading brieftly about this new thingy PERM, I found something quite frustrating...! Now, PERM is introduced to speed up the Labor Cert process and avoid applicants from waiting years just for that Labor Cert stage! But when they introduce this, shouldn't them be "clearing" all the applications of the applicants who filed RIR years ago and after YEARSSSS....still waiting????? Bcos if PERM will ONLY speed up the process for new applicants (from March 2004 onwards), then people like me who waited for my Labor Cert since Sept 2002 (RIR in NJ) will end up WAITING LONGER......(as if nothing has been changed) while seeing others who just applied get their labor cert and green card done!
!!! "People who waited so long ended up waiting for longer; but people who just applied....got through faster than us"
Sigh.....so sad...so frustrated!
