People who have recently received EAD from VSC....

Can a few of you who have already received the EAD approval/EAD card from VSC please provide the following information:-
1.) Number of days it took from Receipt date (not Notice date) for the approval of EAD.
2.) Number of days it took to receive EAD card by mail after the approval of EAD.
It will help when to expect an EAD with the present workload at the INS.

EAD

I have applied EAD on 27th June 2001 and Approved on 18 Sep 2001.
I got my EAD card on 23 Sep 2001.

Centre -VSC
MD : - Jul 26
RD : Jul 27
ND : Sep 19
EAD Approved : Oct 12
Will update once cards recieved
 
90 days sharp

RD 06/27, ND 07/06. AVM updated on 09/27. Received card next day (receipt with the card says it was approved on 09/25).
 
Did anybody get EAD approval from VSC today......

If so, could you please give the Receipt date and/or the Notice date. Thanks.
 
got EAD in 15 days

Attorney applied for EAD on September 10th, received on Oct 3rd, if I remember correctly. EAD is valid from Sept 27th.

I am also waiting for EAD. RD-06/26 ND-09/14

I am not planning to use EAD now. So I can wait.

I think you can get EAD from local INS office same day.

So, why worry about EAD?
 
EAD in local INS

I heard from an IIO that you have to wait till 90 days after your ND then you can apply an "interm" EAD from your local INS if your local INS does issue "interm" EAD. Anyone knows if Newark office issue it?
