I'm in the US under TN. I've been a PA resident since 2007.
My wife recently went through hell to get her driver's license because her I-94 was not in the SAVE database. After a few call's and working with USCIS, we were able to get her records updated and the SAVE database reflected her legal status.
However, Penn DOT insists on seeing my letter of employment/petition. I'm really not comfortable giving out salary information to a DMV employee. Is PennDot overreaching? Their staff is not trained to review the employment letter or determining if it is valid or even authentic! How is this requirement legal/necessary?
Thanks
