I have pending I730. i received an email on 12/8/2007:your case is updated. what is that suppose to mean? Nothing else since that.

I did check, there was no any change on status.

It is taking about 1 year to process I-730s so technically, USCIS has until about next May to process your case...

You can look at processing times for the Nebraska Service center here: https://egov.uscis.gov/cris/jsps/Processtimes.jsp?SeviceCenter=NSC

As you will see, they are processing I-730s that were received on or before August of 2006, therefore my guess is that if they continue to process them with the same speed they are doing right now, you have about a 12-13 month wait.

You are right. However, I realize that they take less time (about 6 months) for beneficiary outside US . It was the case for a friend of mine.

I 730 sent to nsc 11/06 , 01/07 approval notice. Medical and DNA done I'm still waiting to have my kid.
