My (primary) and my wife's I-485 are pending. My wife applied for AP and EAD in March, AP was approved very quickly, but EAD application was sent back to us because of the wrong fee included. We included the right fee and sent the EAD application in early July. Today, when we check the EAD status, it says the INS sent an REF to us on today. Strangely our I-485 cases seem to have been touched three days ago, but without new info there. We are kind of anxious about what the REF for EAD could be. I never heard of REF for EAD! Is there anything going on with our I-485 or my wife's EAD?
