Pending I-485 and vistor visa sponsorship Q

Hi folks,
Please excuse if this went into a wrong forum. My i-485 is pending for last one year and now I am working on my EAD since my H1B has expired 2 months ago.
Now, I would like to sponsor my Mom to visit US on a visitor visa. Earlier 2 years ago I had sent H1b copy and other docs.
Q1. Can I sponsor my mom while waiting for I-485 to be adjucated (and also with h1b expired)
Q2. If yes, what documents should I send so that she could apply for a B2 visa.

All i did was
1, Afidavit of support download from USCIS website, attested with my Pay amount.
2, Employment letter to US Embassy verufying your service / yearly income.
3, copy of your passport.
4, I -485 recipt COPY

P.S .. If you dont get the visa one time .. keep applying ..
