I had very different experience in asylum interview, I heard from many people that asylum interview takes 1 hour and 30 minutes approx. if given in english and 2 hour and 30 minutes approx if interpreter is with you, but it seems different in my case, I had an interview in english and it lasts for 3 and half hour, then officer asked me to come back after 14 days to receive decision but on 13th day I got a call from her and she said decision is not made yet and she will call me and wife for interview again, and its been 4 months and I haven't heard anything since then but applied for EAD. Is it a good sign or bad?

I had similar experience n my interview took almost 5 hours. I was given a date to appear for decision in two weeks n d officer gave me a call a day before n told me he did not yet finish with my case and that I will be receiving the decision via mail after 2 or 3 weeks and now it's been 6 months and I received nothing so far. I made an inquiry 2 month ago regarding same and a random officer over d window took d inquiry paper n wrote "case still under review" on it m put a stamp of the date. I was wondering how can he be sure of that among thousands of people walking d officer without checking anything. I am not also sure if i made the right thing by submitting an inquiry or if that would hold my case longer. i am scared to death.
