Peculiar Question - Need Help

Hi Friends,

While going through variuos threads, I just stumbled on a question with my case and wanted to seek some help. Thanks in advance and appreciate your response/opinions.

I worked for Company A from May 2001 to June 2004 (I was laid off then) during which Company A applied for GC and filed my I-140 and I-485 concurrently in March 2003. Was holding H-1B till December 2006 with this company.

I had no other choice but to join Company B in July 2004 (after new H-1B transfer receipt notice) and was waiting for my approval eagerly.

Meanwhile my Company A (Previous) got some venture capital and offered/asked me to come back which I agreed and joined them in November 2004 (Lawyers said we can still use the old H-1B with this company)

In December 2004, Company B withdrew H-1B transfer case (INS asked for some additional information) as I was NOT working with/for them anymore.

In February 2005, my I-140 got approved and was very happy and now on July 26 2005, received a RFI on my I-485 (don't know what it is!! Eagerly waiting for that letter)

NOW, the questions are
1. Is it Ok to not have a H-1B with Company B though I have pay-stubs from them?
2. Do you see any problem(s) with my case/situation/status anywhere?
3. Will this impact I-485 approval in anyway?

Thanking you in advance and Please advice...

Yes, it's OK. Because you joined company B after receiving H1 transfer notice and it was in approvable condition when you joined.
