Can we get some count of EB3 - INDIA Priority Date before December 2002.
So at least we can have some sense about volume of cases.

No one knows the count

I don't think anyone knows. USCIS has all the data but they don't have a clue about anything.

You can do a poll here.. you could see cases on Trackitt.. but not everyone uses these sites.

Count me in too! Looks like there is no hope here, I can tell you that I personally know 5 more people eb3-india with same timeline as myself still waiting..I even know of an eb2-india with PD 2002 still waiting..

But I also personally know about 60 people-all eb3 india with 2004 PD (all from my company and other companies) got their 485 approved in june/july/aug 2007 when dates were current.

I guess what has delayed eb3 folks like me from india with 2004 timelines is all the people who had PD of 2001/2002/2003/2004 who had their labors approved already and had not filed their 485's and were waiting to file when dates became current, now that dates became current in jun/jul/aug they all applied and now I have a feeeling that about 25000 eb3-india with PDs in 2001/2002/2003/2004 applied during this period and this will create a huge backlog, just my thoughts and 2cents...:)..the wait is very frustrating though..

Sofar four EAD's and four AP's approved.
NOID on I-485, ( Employment verification letter) Answered around in the month of Sep 07 and message says RFE response received and there are three LUD's on 1-485. 09/09, 09/10 and 09/11, after that no response.

Always wonder why USCIS does not assign a serial number or
assign a waiting list number to get us a picture of how many cases are
ahead of ours when final stage is reached (i.e. waiting for visa number).
It shouldn't be tough to get that count out. Then we'll know the math.

And of course they won't let you know where in the queue you are - they don't know either, and then they can't claim that "each case is unique and thus some might take longer to process"

Even the Ombudsman's report said that they pay the contractors based on number of cases processed - hence the low hanging fruit are done much faster - I guess whatever is within reach of the officer's hand.
 
looks like there is a long way to go for guys who has PD in 2002 because it seems there are so many applications which are backlogged and labor approved cases have been filed for I-485 in July fiasco. Unless congress does something looks like no light at end of the tunnel :>?*&
