PD Current: How to verify background check

Hi,
Like most of us here, my PD will also be current from 1st June.
I am EB3 from INDIA.
PD:March 2002
I485/I140 - RD: 12/20/2004
1140 approved in MAY 2005
I receive a RFE on 485 in June/July 2005 (just before retrogression). By the time I received the notice and replied the date was already retrogressed.

Have been waiting since then 3-EADs, 3-APs and 2 FPs done. My question is how to verify if my Name check (background check) is completed. Does the RFE mean it is already cleared (wishful thinking ;) ).

I am also in the similar situation. Sent letter through attorney to NSC and there is no reply.. But LUD changed..
