PCC Question -- Help!!

Hi,

I was reading general guidelines for PCC and got confuse. Please

1) How many photographs are required for PCC? (3/6) BTW passport has been issued by RPO, India.
2) Do I have to fill three copies of Personal particulars Proforma?

I\'m thinking three photographs for Miscellaneous services form and another three for Personal particulars Proforma. Is this right?

Your help would be greatly appreciated.

Not sure about the personal performa thingee

which guidelines is this ? For my PCC, I filled in the Misc services form (just 1 per person) which needs one photgraph, thats it.
 
Dude, IMHO the instructions say

One misc form which will need one photo.

Three personal particulars proforma which will need 3 photos (one for each). Not sure what this is for, but looks like they want it at CGI atleast (as far as I remeber Houston didn;t ask for it, not sure since mine was renewed at houston and they asked for only misc form).

Only 1 photo for misc form

Misc form needs only 1 photo and that is what I did. It is very well written on the Misc form.
 
Need help

Me and my wife are currently residing in US. I have applied my GC for consular processing. Do i need to get PCC from Indian consulate in US or is it ok to get the PCC from local police station in india.

Pls advice.

You can either get PCC from Indian Consulate in US or local
police station/passport office in India.

But, if your passport was issued at India ( and not by the indian consulate in US), then it takes 35 days to get the same from Indian consulate in US. Moreover, you need to submit the original passport.

Any how, call up the Indian consulate in US.

Does any one know, how long it takes to get the PCC from
India? What are the documents required to obtain the same?
