Note that if you send by mail,
put a Bankers Check for $11+15.
Download and fill the application.

You will get your passport back
after about 45 days with the PCC.

They only do transactions by US Mail,
NO Fedex etc.

I didn\'t want to leave my passport so
I personaly went there gave my application.
I need to go again after 45 days to get the PCC.
They will note it on the original passport that PCC
is issued.

well, I just sent in, the PCC to NYC with a copy of my passport
(they emiled me saying copy was godd for the forst stage)

well Cp rocks.....I just applied and hoping for a aug-sept interview
so when i get my PCC it will be 3 montsh from now...
You think My validity can be debated, if need arises at the cousulate in India

Fees increase for PCC from $11 to $20.

Hi Guys,

NY Consul increased fee for PCC from $11 to $20. I applied PCC for both myself and my wife yesterday. they asked me to come and collect mine today, as my passport is issued in NY and they were working only half day yesterday. Generally if the passport in issued in NY, they will return it in the same day. They told it will take 30 to 45 days for PCC for my wife as passport is issued in Indian RPC.
