PCC Fees

It has been a month since I applied for PCC at CGI @ SFO. So, called the consulate this morning. To my surprise was connected immediately :)

The lady said just what has been repeated in this thread (VM1214, DILBERT). "....if it's more than a month since applying please mail in your passport" :cool: .

I fedexed them this afternoon. So, when should I expect the PCC/passport back? Once the CGI receives the passport, what's the timeline?

PCCs received

Just providing timeline for my PCC application (...thru receiving). Hope it helps people who are in the process/yet to apply.

May 21, 2004 - Fedexed the PCC applications + money order
May 24, 2004 - Applications delivered @ CGISFO
May 26, 2004 - Entered into the system (got to know later)
May 27, 2004 - Money Order encashed
Jun 22, 2004 - Spoke to consulate representative. She asked to mail the passports if it was more than a month
Jun 22, 2004 - Fedexed the passports
Jun 23, 2004 - Passports delivered @ CGISFO
Jun 28, 2004 - Spoke to consulate representative. She said they hadn't worked on the PCCs as it wasn't yet a month. And said will be attended soon.
Jun 29, 2004 - Call from the consulate asking for which (country's) immigration were the PCCs for.
Jun 29, 2004 - Consulate couriers PCCs & Passports (thru DHL-Airborne)
Jul 01, 2004 - PCCs & passports delivered.

Specify in your cover later (second time when you send the passports) that the PCC is for US immigration.

Anyone with NY consul PCC experience?? I would be interested since that is where I would be sending my PCC application...
