I need to apply for my PCC at Chicago-Consulate. I have a bunch of questions. However the Chicago Consulate Passport officer( Deepa Mehta) is being a prick in answering the questions.

*Can one apply for PCC by mail
*Do we have to mail the orginal passport or will a notarized photocopy do for the PCC
*Does Chicago accept Telex fees
* Can we include the return mail fees-Telex Fees-PCC fees in one cashiers check
*What is the processing time for passports that have been issued by Chicago Consulate.
* Do they require the original Passport when they issue the PCC
* For the PCC process does the consulate keep your orginal passport in their custody, until the PCC is issued
* Is there a special stamp for PCC on ones passport and seperate certificate.

I would really appreciate if GetGCNow or anyone who has past experience of getting PCC from Chicago, can answer my questions

Thanks,
Bapa

Above all, if your passport is issued by any Indian consulate here in US, you will get your PCC in two days.
