If anyone could please share their expertise regarding if a F 1 student while after applying for OPT/EAD can work and be on payroll? My EAD application is not a straight one I did get a RFE also for which I did reply. I do have a H 1 apprvoval which begins Oct 01 2005.
When I had contacted the INS regarding this they had advised me that if the employer didnt have an issue I could work while waiting for EAD.
I want to know what is the implication of being on payroll while waiting to hear OPT/EAD decision with H 1 approval. Will it effect the H 1 stamping when I go back to home country?
