pay stub for applying new h1

Got layed off 4 weeks back.

I got 4 weeks of "severance" and 2 weeks of vacation payment.

So for new H1:
a. I can submit the severance paycheck OR
b. I can submit the severance paycheck and vacation refund ( 2 weeks ) to show that i am in status OR
c. I cannot use both, the last paycheck before the layoff is the last check i can submit to INS. Is 5 weeks out-of-status ok?

which of this is true? please let me know.

If the severance pay check says "severance pay" then it is not advisable to use it.

But if you dont have any other paycheck and you have to do a transfer, you will have to use the paycheck.
I would recommend risking it. Consult your lawyer/employer about this.
