Pay-stub a must for H1 Transfer?

Hi ,

I have not enterd USA and hence have not worked with the employer who filed my H1.
I intend to enter USA now on this visa and starightaway apply for H1 transfer to another company.

Are there any problems in taking this step?
Is pay-stub an essential requirement for H1 transfer to happen.??
Do I need some other docs from this employer if paystub is not essential reqmt?

Paystub is not essential

It is used to show that your previous employer maintained your status and you were getting paid.
If you apply for h1 transfer within 1 month of coming into US (i94 will have the date of entry) I guess you dont need a paystub. Your new employer (and lawyer) also have to agree to this.
