It seems that it is only in headlines on the site. Guys, could you, please, post message everywhere it is possible including other forums on this site.

Who prepared this pettition forgot about one "tiny" detail - INS no longer exist. And BSCI belong not to USDOJ anymore but to DHS.
Along with this petition you can sign another one - "to whom may concern" and send it to penguins in Antarctic. Result will be the same.
 
I do not think we should worry

Everybody knows what INS was and what is in place of INS now. The names do not matter much in the situation. Everybody knows INS has change the name but not people, offices and practice.

And any way they can change the words now.

I'm really impressed about your intelligent way to do discussions.
Anyway - can you imagine how CSC director will be scary reading this petition? Obviously he never knew about own huge backlog and was pretty sure that all applicants are just happy to hear AAS message "...we will mail you a notice if further action is needed, or when a decision is made...”
Who else you want to impress with such a breaking news about INS backlogs - your senator, Tom Ridge or may be even George W.?

Just curious - how may inquires you or your lawyer faxed to CSC?
How many answers did you got?

Bottom line - "If you cannot avoid be raped - relax and try to enjoy". Period.

in the US there is a word for that...... coward i believe...... and in his cowardice he would seek to convince others to join him in his misery

pretty sad outlook on life, feeling he's powerless.....can you imagine if martin luther king jr felt that way or countless people through history

I meant the nicier one. Hope they will fix that in the petition. I will send an email.
As to nice wording in the main petition I think it should show no sign of anger since it is official. Poor your thoghts about INS/BCIS/whatever while signing the petition and read what others wrote. It is pretty though already.
Secondly Rajiv will be able use it to open many doors including in Washington. So, please, try to have as many as possible people signed it. They won't be able to ignore us forever.

P.S. I had very bad experince with INS. They messed up my first I140 in 2000. Now I am waiting for my second GC process to finish. I do not like the organization too.

The french just opted to disagree with US. Infact they are more courageous in that respect to go against US and veto US proposals. It does'nt take too much of bravery to throw bombs from 5000 miles or seize an impoverished country with overwhelmig power !!! However, I do think Saddam is a rogue ruler and the action taken by USA is probably right (not very sure).

I do however appreciate very much the CSC petition brought forward and have already signed it and so has my family.

Just my humble opinion guys ....

I believe this petition that you started more than a year ago was the first attempt challenging I-485 backlog at the CSC forum.
It was before Project Ocean, even before Project Kashmir.

Also, I was pleased to have visited Tom Lantos' office with you last December.

Very very efficient Kashmir. :) You actually remembered this old thread and managed to hunt it up? I don't know where you would have been if you had focussed this kind of effort in starting your own business. :) It is still not too late you know. :)
