past 3 years tax returns are required for I485??

Folks,

Are past 3 years tax returns are required by I485? From www.immihelp.com,
it is not required and my laywer says it is not required by law also.

can someone help to clarify this?

I just sent the last year\'s tax return i.e for Year 2000. Just filed my 485. My lawyer only asked me for the latest. But I\'ve seen people saying that they were asked to submit their W2\'s for past years.
 
Better to submit all

I would suggest you to submit all years tax ( whatever you have) with I485. That\'s what I did.
