Passport with Work Authorization SS

Hi,

I would like to get a passport ASAP after my oath. My current SS states valid for work only with work authorization (if I'm not mistaken, I got this before I was approved for GC, when I first got my work Auth approved)..

Would this card be acceptable for a passport together with citizenship certificate I get at oath, or would I first need to adjust something at the SS office and then once I get my new card apply for passport?!

Thanks in advance

You don't need the SS card to apply for passport. You can apply for a SS card without restrictions after you get the passport. Go to the SSA office with your passport, fill out a form to get the SS replaced and to let them know you are a citizen now. They'll send you a new card.

Or you can apply for SS card without restrictions by showing naturalization certificate before you apply for the passport.
