Passport Validity

I would like to know for how long passport should be valid when I go for stamping after I-485 approval.

Any help is appreciated.

If your passport is expiring within next 12 months then
it is better to get it renewed before going for the stamping.

It does not take long for renewal. In NYC you can get on same
day.

I agree with Lilly Lally. Get the passport renewed if it is expiring within 12 months. In San Fransisco, too, you can get the passport renewed within a day.
