Passport validity to enter in USA

Wishing everybody good health.

If my passport is expiring in April 2021, can I travel to USA with a B1/B2 visa, during February for 1 week?

If your passport is from a country in the 6-month club, yes. Otherwise, no.

Be aware that if you are transiting a third country which requires 3 or 6 month validity it may be a problem even if you are in the “6 month club”, so it depends on your route as well/or just ensure you fly direct.

The visa is still valid even if the passport expires or is cancelled. As someone already noted, just carry both passports. But be careful if you submit your passport for cancellation when you apply for a new one; if your local passport office stamps all the pages of the old passport with ‘Cancelled’ or the equivalent, including the US visa, then the visa can’t be used.

Your passport must be valid for at least six months beyond your period of stay in the United States (unless exempt by country-specific agreements).
