Passport Stamping

Hi All ,

I have a specific question related to my stamping of passport.
I am in USA.

My H1-B is expiring in FEB 2004 and i am shifting to my EAD.

Please suggest me how should i go about the stamping of my passport .

Should i send my passport to DC office for stamping with EAD INFORMATION.

You will be using the EAD card for employment and AP to re-enter US. The passport will not be stamped for EAD.

You don’t have H1 extension approval, you are working on EAD, no need of passport stamping, Passport stamping means Visa stamp and you are on EAD just fill up form I-9 with your employer HR. DOS does not stamp passport with EAD where did you read that you need passport stamping while you are working on EAD? You need valid AP approved in US before departure to return back to US. Apply AP if you have not applied.
