Thanks for all those who sent messages congratulations to me. They definitely mean a lot.

Here\'s my question: I am currently working in another state since I submitted my I-485, Can I get the passport stamped in any INS office or should I go to the state where my application was filed from ?

As long as you *live* in the jurisdiction of the local INS, you can have your passport stamped there.

At least in San Jose, CA INS, they specifically ask for the city of residence and process cases only within the counties of jurisdiction (Santa Crux, San Mateo and Santa Clara).
