Hi All,

I have a question . I do not know whether this question should be here , but still want everyone's opinion on this .

My H1-B is expiring on Feb 20 2004 ( 1st three years ) .
I got my EAD and want to shift to my EAD after the H1-B expiration.
So also , my H1-B visa AND I -94 on the passport with present company expires on Feb 20th .

What should i do next in terms of my passport , should i send it to Washington DC for EAD stamping , or should i check with INS for another I-94 date .

I am confused , please advise ?

Thanks for all your help

You do not have to do any thing.

You do not need further stamping of visa. To use EAD you may need to inform your employer by submitting new I-9 form.

If you go out of country you need an advance parole to enter the US back

if your I-140 is still not approved better file for H1 extension before I-94 expires and dont use EAD, it is better to be on H1 till I-140 is not approved becase if I-140 is denied then EAD, AP, I-485 all will be denied and you will not have any status.
