Passport Stamping Question

I have received my Green Card approval. Is it possible that I can get my passport stamped first and then my spouse can get the passport stamped later after a month as she is visiting back home. Is there any possible issues that can arise as a results. Also can I use this stamp to travel abroad.

I know a case where the primary applicant stamped his passport when the derivative applicants were vacationing outside USA. Then the primary applicant went out of the country and returned back with the derivative applicants. The derivative applicants had no problem in entering into USA with advance parole and got their passports stamped in San Francisco. Of course this was in 2002. Probably, someone can update you with more recent experiences
