Passport Stamping issue...please reply!

For some important reasons, me and wife are unable to go for passport stamping to Newark on the next 2 Wednesdays.

1) Is it a problem if we go on any other day, other than Wednesday?

2) Is INS Newark open on Saturday?

3) If we can go on a day other than Wednesday, then do we have to inform INS Newark in advance or we just show up there on that day?

4) Any issues/problems/concerns if we go for passport stamping to INS Newark on a day other than Wednesday?

Please advice.

delaying stamping

I am in the same boat i need to delay stamping by 3 weeks is it o.k my AD is Oct 8th anybody please respond.

Thanks for the reply it is a great relief i was worried about some security check that real_canadian had mentioned in the post of 'delay in passport stamping'.
 
The check remains valid for 35 days. If at the time of adjudication more than 35 days has passed a new check must be performed.
How would i know when the check was done and that it will expire within 35days. Will i be o.k with this time period for my AD .
My AD: OCT 8th.
