Dear all,

Could someone share personal experience on if it\'s Ok to go to local INS for
stamping with the courtesy copy? I seem to remember that someone said that
it\'s ok, but it says on it that ``this copy cannot be used in lieu ...\'\'
or something similar? Any pointers? I really appreciate the answer...

Regards,

Was the Courtesy copy sent to your home or through your lawyer?

Congratulation for your approval. Just like to know how long after your approval date did you receive your courtesy copy?
I heard that I was approved on 11/06/2001. I am expecting the courtesy copy. I have been visiting this site for a while. I remember that lots of people got their stamping using their courtesy copy of approval notice.

No courtesy copy of approval notice yet

Jet Li, I have the same situation as yours. My case was approved on 11/06/2001, by now I still haven\'t received the courtesy copy of approval notice from INS yet, but my attorney already received the original one last Friday. I think I will go stamping with the original one from my attorney, but I\'m not sure if INS will send me the courtesy copy or not. If not, should I request one from INS? Thanks in advance for any advice.

I went with CC to Arlington VA.

Hello dfgf :

You can go with either one. Don\'t have to be worry for CCopy.

Good Luck to all[non stampers]

No Title

JetLi: according to CC (and to INS answering service) they approved my
application on 10/26. I received 2 CC\'s for me and my wife
(simultaneously) last week. My lawyer though claims to have received
only my wife\'s notice. Thus the question, as we want to go for
stamping ASAP.

Regards,
