Hi Friends
I got my wife's and my passport stamped yesterday. It was very quick. Very few people were in the waiting lobby.
Photo: The approval notice says that the photos should be in ADIT style. That is not true. You have to take 2 frontal passport photos. Go to travel.state.gov/passport and you can get more details about the specs.
Fingerprint : Only the pointer finger's impression was taken
Fees : None
Documents produced:
1. Valid Passport
2. I-94
3. Notice (I had courtesy copy of the approval notice)
4. 2 passport photos
I was told that I can use the stamping as a proof of residence to travel abroad and for employment.
I read recently in this forum that the stamping may not be enough for traveling abroad. As per the lady in USCIS, that is incorrect.
Cheers and All the best to everyone waiting for approval.
