Friday I went to passport stamping in LA office.

Whole day parking:
$13.xx (LA shopping Mall next to Federal B/D)
$6.60 (Temple street, 1.5 blocks away from Federal B/D)
$4.00 (Alameda street, 2.0 blocks away from Federal B/D)
I used for $6.60 for compromise due to two children and two car for work.

My Infopass is for 7:15 AM at room number 6532.
We arrived the building at 6:50 AM.
I saw a very long line at right hand side and a short one on the left.
I told my wife that we can use short one due to Infopass.
She told me that long line people have similar paper like us.
Well, I didn't pay attention to her and went to the short line to find I was wrong. :o
The short one is only for room number 1001 only.
I went to the long line and admitted my first mistake.

At 7:00 AM, they allowed us let in the building with security check.
It doesn’t take that much.
We went to the 6th floor and found room 6532, where I showed my Infopass which let us in.
They showed Disney movie “Spirit” which will take care of my 4 and 8 years old boys. I was on the receptionist line to get token.
I submitted 4 copies of notice letter and Infopass each. The lady mentioned that she use two Infopass of adults with each child. We get two numbers H11 and H12 to be called. I saw one window is for H.
Later I saw my number was announced and went to the window for H.
I finished my work and younger son. Later my wife came to there and that window is H12 for her. This is my second mistake. My number was for another window.
Now confusion started. I went my proper window and asked her to handle with my wife number, H12. She said she can only handle for H11 (mine) not H12 (my wife). I told her my case was handled at other window. She said she can only handled H11, no one lese can. I came back to H12 window and asked her that she can tell her colleague about this favor. She said she won’t do that. I went to the receptionist asked her what I can do. She suggest me just switch numbers each other. ;) But my number is on Officer’s file. I came back to my wife and explained this situation in my own language. The officer noticed our noisy conversation and said she will take care of my wife case too.
She has to handle 4 cases with one token.
Receptionist tried to help us to process two people at each window.
But I confused them and took longer than planned.
When we are called again for stamping, another process evaluator (?) came and asked the officer, “Did you handle two cases with one token?” The officer replied, “They were confused about token number and I handle both cases with tow token.”
Finally we got our stampings.
I told her sorry for my mistake which causes trouble.
She said no problem. “Is this address for card to be mailed?”
I told her, “Yes. I really appreciated your gracious and honorable service.”
She told me with smile, “Thank you.”

When we left the building, it was 8:50.
My eight year old son was worried for school late and he could not take weekly spelling test.
I told him this is very important thing to do.
He hardly believes its importance.
If I took this issue like him, I could spend my time more productively.
