Passport stamping in Houston..

Got my passport stamped yesterday, in Houston, where I have recently relocated from Denver. Although, the approval notice asked me to go to Denver. Did not have any problems except for the long wait.
Was there at around 9:30 a.m. Got into the queue at 10:20 a.m. and was called by the officer at around 3:00 p.m. The whole process took 5 minutes. They congratulated me and my wife and stamped our passports.
Do I need to be with the same company until I get the final Green card or can I switch employment anytime ?

Congrats on your PP stamping..

Our PP was stamped on 2/5/04. We were there by 8:40, we were called at 9:30 and PP was stampled in next 10 minutes.
 
Congrats, Kanata, on your passport stamping. It is good to know that you had to hardly wait an hour. It took forever when we got there.

Also, what's your opinion with regards to contracting after the stamping ? Can we start doing that immediately or do we have to wait some time ?
