Passport Stamping in Hartford, CT, do I need an appointment.

I received my Approval Notice for I-485, and have to get the passport stamped at Hartford, CT. The letter indicates that I need to call the local INS to schedule an appointment. Do I need to take an appointment or can I just go to the INS office. I have read discussions in other states that they do not need an appointment.

I will post all my details when I get to work tomorrow.

No...just show up with your approval notice (courtesy copy is usually OK but some immigration officers want the original), passport, I94, and 2 photos. If you have AP or EAD, bring those as well just in case. Good luck!

I got Passport stamped without appointment.
Passport stamping is just a routine procedure and it is Not a big deal to go to INS office without appointment!.
