Me and my husband reached the Hartford office at 8:15 a.m. today. There was hardly any crowd (our token # was 15) and they were serving #5. Nobody checked our approval letter when coming in. We had carried 2 immigration type photographs among other documents.
2 windows were open, one lady (to the right) was old and white and the other one on the left was a youngish black lady. We were sitting in the 3rd row looking right at them A flash hit us from the back and I realised that no one had asked for your fingerprints as yet. We inquired and found out that we did need our fingerprints prior to the stamping. Stood in that queue (we were second in line there) and got that done in about 10 minutes.
The white old lady looked like she was having a bad day. Between every token number she would look out of the window for a few minutes, check her flower pot to straighten its leaves, check her seat (for bugs I guess) while we all sat there waiting to be called. She seemed to be rude to everyone she called. We prayed to get the other black lady who seemed courteous and fast. As luck would have it, the white one called us :-(
We told her that we had come for our passport stamping. We gave our courtesy copy, 2 photographs and the passport. She took out the photographs the I-94 and place them in a bag each. Stamped our passport with -
