Passport stamping done in NYC

Hello all.

I got my passport stamped in NYC Federal Plaza office today. The stamping part was peaceful , no problems there, only there is a long queue.
Beside that there was nothing bad. If you get there early then there should not be any delay. I got my pictures taken there and then had to wait about an hour before my turn came. They took the I94, ead cards,pictures, took the fingerprints and stamped the passport for me and my wife.

about taking picture part. I thought you are suppose to bring 2 pictures to them. So you don\'t have to take the INS style picture before you go? Thanks.

sorry if my note didnot explain it correctly. I had to get my pics taken outside the INS building. They take the pics and give it to immediately and the charge was reasonable.

Hi,
This is lily lally again.
Can you please give more details about your stamping experience at NYC. i.e. what time you reached there?
what time you were out ? How many people were there etc.

One of my friend got his approval on 6/18/01 and has to go there
for stamping as soon as he get the approval notice.
