Passport Stampinf experience in Philadelphia

Hello people,

Just wanted to update my fellow anxious brothers about my passport stamping experience.

Need photos - go to the van outside INS office - bargain to get pictures at 2 for $6.

INS Office opens at 7:30 - we were there at 6:30 am, and still were the 10th in the queue. By 7:30 there were another 50-60 people in the queue outside.

Luckily, we were the first in the queue for Adjustment of Status, but the lady showed up only at 8:15 and we had to wait. She was really nice and took our courtesy copy of Approval notice, I-94, 2 pictures, EAD, Parole Visa, signature and index finger print. Then she stamped our passport and told us that we would receive the card in 9-12 months (standard information I guess).

Any questions, feel free to ask.

Cheers

Naveen,
Are you sure that only courtesy copy of approval notice is sufficient.
Please confirm, because Newark INS doesn\'t take courtesy copy.

Thanks.

That is true. Philadelphia INS office accepts the courtesy copy and this information is correct as of this morning, \'cos thats when I used mine.
