Passport stamped with temporary evidence

Last month I got a notice stating that my application for permanent residency has been approved. Based on that paper I got my passport stamped. The stamping says.

"Processed for I-551 temporary evidence of lawful admission for permanent residence valid until Sep 1,2006. Employment authorized". Signature.

Now I got the "real green card". Do I need to go to INS office again to get a stamping. I am just a bit concerned about the word "temporary evidence". I plan to go out of country next month.

Thanks.

You already have your plastic card which overrides the stamp on your passport. You wont have any problems with travel.
